As a performer, Paul has performed throughout North America, South America, and Europe.  Originally from New Hampshire, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in cello performance and Suzuki pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, Ohio.  Paul has been a featured soloist with the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra and the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra.

Along with his string quartet, Paul performed in different areas Europe, premiered David Temperley’s Quartet No. 5, and was an artist in residence at Rencontres Musicales Interationales des Graves in Bordeaux, France.  Recently, Paul has been in the studio orchestras for Louis Cole’s newest studio album, Time, and for Star Trek Continues. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in cello performance and music education at the Eastman School of Music, Paul studied with Alan Harris, Kathleen Murphy Kemp, Steven Doane, Jean Barr, the Ying Quartet, Ann Schein Carlyss, as well as others.

In addition to performing, Paul is a passionate music educator. While living in Rochester, NY, Paul taught at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance, Eastman Community Music School, and Spectrum Creative Arts – a music school for people with adaptive learning needs.  He also taught at El Sistema inspired programs in the inner-urban areas of Rochester, NY.  Through performing and teaching, Paul strives to bring classical music to students and audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
