Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Vocal Pedagogy – Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music

Kailyn Martino

Ms. Kailyn Martino is a soprano from Pittsburgh, PA. In May 2020, she graduated summa cum laude from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance and an Emphasis in Vocal Pedagogy. She currently is under the mentorship of Dr. JR Fralick for vocal and pedagogy post-graduate studies. In addition to teaching virtual voice lessons this summer, Ms. Kailyn prepared the role of “Elle” in Francis Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine with BW Opera. In 2018, she took the stage as “Younger Alyce” in the Midwest premiere of Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied.

Ms. Kailyn during her studies at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory was also the 2018 recipient of the Hakola Prize for Academic & Vocal Excellence, in addition she has performed both supporting and cover roles with Cleveland Opera Theater, the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, the Harrower Summer Opera and Baldwin Wallace Opera. Ms. Kailyn’s long term goal and passion is teaching young college and pre-college developing voices and she is thrilled to be part of the voice department at the Aurora School of Music.
