Bachelor in Pop Vocal Performance – Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music

Sofiia Domchuk, soprano, is a professionally trained vocalist and vocal coach with a degree in Pop Vocal Performance from the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R. Glier, and an associate degree from the Kyiv Circus and Variety Arts Academy. Alongside her vocal training, Sophia studied acting, which gives her a unique ability to help students connect emotionally with the music they sing, explore character, and express themselves with authenticity and depth.

Sofiia began teaching voice in 2020, working with students in both private and group settings. She has experience teaching in person and online, with a strong focus on healthy vocal development, stylistic expression, and confidence-building through music. Her teaching philosophy centers around helping each student find their authentic voice while developing technical control, musicality, and emotional connection.

In addition to her teaching, Sophia has performed as a lead vocalist and backing singer, and has directed pop ensemble groups. She specializes in pop and contemporary music but also draws inspiration from classical and theatrical traditions. Currently based in Cleveland, she brings an international perspective to her vocal work and remains passionate about helping others grow artistically and personally through the power of voice.
