Alina “Allie” Petrenko was born in Kazakhstan. A student of legendary pedagogues Dora Schwarzberg and Paul Kantor, she has enjoyed a distinguished career performing with major orchestras around the world, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra.
She has also recorded soundtracks for major films with the LSO, including Zero Dark Thirty, The Ides of March, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The King’s Speech, Rise of the Guardians, and Brave, at Abbey Road Studios in London.
She is now returning to her first love, teaching, drawing on decades of professional performance experience to inspire and guide the next generation of musicians.
