Being born into a family of musicians, Armond Luckey has been surrounded by music his entire life. Watching his father lead worship at their church, play multiple instruments, compose, and record, inspired Armond to pursue his own musical journey. At 12 years old, Armond picked up the trumpet and never looked back. By the age of 15 he was giving private trumpet lessons and being called to play in local shows. Armond fell in love with lead trumpet playing and began to pursue opportunities in that field. He continued his studies at Miami University where he studied under James Olcott, and has played with several groups in Cincinnati and beyond.
