Hannah Whitley holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University and brings real-world, working industry experience directly into the classroom. Immediately after graduating, she led the national tour of the Broadway musical Hadestown in the titular role of Eurydice — an experience that shaped her deep understanding of vocal stamina, storytelling, and the discipline required of a professional performer.

She has since worked at some of the country’s most acclaimed regional theatres, including The Muny and Goodman Theatre, and is currently starring on Disney Channel’s newest series, Vampirina: Teenage Vampire. Hannah brings this on-camera and stage experience into her teaching, helping students understand not only technique, but what it truly means to be a working artist in today’s industry.

As an actor, singer, dancer, and poet from Cleveland, Ohio, Hannah is passionate about empowering young artists to discover their unique voices. As a young artist of color, she is especially committed to cultivating inclusive spaces where diverse stories are honored and individuality is celebrated. She believes that when students feel safe to be fully themselves, artistry flourishes.

Inspired by Stephen Nachmanovitch’s belief that “The most potent Muse of all is our own inner child,” Hannah centers play, curiosity, and imagination in her classroom. Her goal is to equip students with strong technical foundations while also nurturing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of storytelling.
