John Polace is a local Northeast Ohio keyboardist, producer, songwriter and composer born in Macedonia, Ohio. He is an alumnus of Cleveland State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, as well as a former student of the Aurora School of Music. Throughout his education, he studied jazz piano under Theron Brown, Daniel Spearman, Rock Wehrman, and Jackie Warren, as well as composition under Andrew Rindfleisch, and Gregory D’Alessio. Additionally, John learned the fundamentals of music production at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center under Bernie VanTilburg, and has gone on to mix and produce for many local artists in the Ohio area.

John is an active member of the Cleveland independent music scene, with experience in live band performance, as well releasing music over streaming services.

John’s main goal as an educator is to make music approachable and fun, and to provide students with important resources to become a multifaceted musician in our modern world.
