Maggie Johns is in her concluding year of her master’s degree in piano performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studies under Kathryn Brown. Previously studying with Dr. Larissa Dedova, Maggie graduated summa cum laude and Presser Scholar from the University of Maryland in 2022. Maggie has been teaching piano for over three years and considers teaching one the most rewarding aspects of her musical life. In addition, Maggie loves to compose and has premiered a number of new works, including her own quartet.
