After being accepted into Oberlin Conservatory, he studied with saxophonist Gary Bartz and was a featured performer in St. Thomas with Dion Parson and at the JEN (Jazz Education Network) convention in New Orleans. After college, he spent 2022 in New York City’s jazz scene.

He currently works as a full-time freelance artist, teaching at The Music Settlement as a J@MS faculty member and as a private music instructor around the NEO area. He continues to pursue his interests as a sideman as well as a bandleader.
