Bachelor in Horn Performance – University of Wisconsin-Madison
Master in Horn Performance – Cleveland Institute of Music

Rachel is a freelance musician in the Cleveland area. She earned her master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2023, and her bachelor’s degree in 2021 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her time in Wisconsin, she played with several local orchestras, including the Madison Community Orchestra, Edgewood Chamber Orchestra, Middleton Community Orchestra, and the Beloit-Janesville Orchestra. She performed with several student chamber groups throughout her studies and attended the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival as well as the Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar. Alongside the french horn, she has played the piano for over fourteen years. During her undergraduate studies, she taught piano lessons at the Arboretum Music School in Waunakee, Wisconsin; for the past year while living in Cleveland, she has taught brass and piano lessons at the Loud and Clear Music School in Cuyahoga Falls.
