At the Aurora School of Music, we reserve our state-of-the-art performance hall for student recitals several times per year. You will have the opportunity to present your solo and duet repertoire to family, friends, and peers, and if you’d like to collaborate with an instrumentalist or vocalist in a recital, please let your teacher know! Jazz musicians will also be able to participate in jazz combos under the guidance of jazz piano teacher Daniel Spearman. Each year, our teachers nominate students to work with visiting artists in private lessons and masterclasses. We have ongoing relationships with some of the nation’s leading pianists, and they will visit our school to perform, work with students on repertoire and technique, and relate their experience as a professional musician.
